While talking builds, how can I download the newest build from Christmas? I guess re-downloading what I already claimed years back will not give me the newest build that's available on Steam.

EDIT: In fact it's the new release when I click on my previously claimed version.

The latest release is on Steam - it's the full, 100% release, done-done (unless some Critical bug comes up).

That's fine, but I do not use Steam. Where's my NON-Steam download? The latest version I have is 2022.3.62.28864 — is that the "final-final" one?

When we update builds on Steam, we also update builds here on itch.io. So they are in sync. Itch.io is the NON-Steam download for people. Please email me directly if you have more questions. Email: contact AT guysfromandromeda DOT com

1. Is 2022.3.62.28864 the "final-final" version?
2. You recommend playing the game in 1920x1080 resolution — but my monitor has a different resolution, and the window the game runs in cannot be resized by dragging the edges, and I cannot figure out how to switch the resolution  from inside the game. That leads to the inventory to be partially off-screen, for example.

1. Yes, as noted by the Guys from Andromeda - this is the done-done version (unless some major critical bug that somehow went undiscovered surfaces)

2. The game resolution can not be changed. Has to be 1920x1080. So you would need to adjust your resolution on Windows down to 1920x1080 to avoid seeing what you're seeing (at least to play the game) - but can put it back after playing.

1. I did see them saying "this is the final-final version", but I did not see them specifying what "this" is, i.e. the version number of the final file. Thus, I'm asking what the version number is so I can see if I indeed have the correct file, or not. Because so far I am still encountering bugs (hopefully because of the resolution issue)

2. I have a widescreen  monitor, and 1920x1080 on it really sucks. It would make way more sense for the game window to resize to 1920x1080, so it can display properly on ANY montor, but it looks like that's beyond the 2GFA.

Fair! I had thought it was in their latest update - that this was the "final" done-done version - however, glancing at it again - it does say - FINAL NOTES - We hope you’re just as excited as we are to see SpaceVenture finally reach this milestone. While the full release is a huge moment for us, we still have ideas and plans for future improvements, and we’re especially looking forward to continuing work on bringing the game to additional platforms.

So I am not sure if those improvements include supporting higher resolutions!

For the bugs, I'd test it in 1920x1080 and see if you still see it (I know you mentioned the inventory thing - but that was related to resolution), which I am 99.9999999% sure only supports 1920x1080 at the moment.

...which makes me (as a software developer) wonder: what the hell are they doing there that can't be properly parametrized (so it automatically adjusts to any screen size).
