i've really enjoyed my time with this game. your take on echolocation very much put me in myron's headspace, trying to understand this environment in an unusual way. the visuals and sound design both hit and make for a very unique experience, all of that you've really nailed, great stuff

the thing is, i really feel like i do understand the space now, and i think i get what i am supposed to do to get past the bird but i can't quite seem to execute on it? i feel like its either a bit on the hard side or tuned to a specific playstyle which i'm not hitting?

if you do decide to continue with this one and if you can smooth the edges off i will be very keen to see what you do with it, this is a really good foundation. pls keep going! :)

Ah thank you so much for the praise!
I was also really surprised with how well this game turned out,  will definitely work on it a bit further this coming year.  And yea, checkpoints are a must do for this game, being one the most requested feature to far. Also one thing that happened was the lack of QA testing for the game, I was able to beat the game easily at first, so I amped the difficulty before releasing the game and didn't bother to test much further. Which isn't reliable since I have my own bias, since I know where everything is and how to properly evade the bird xd.

But anyways, thanks for the feedback and more updates to come out soon!
