Hi! I wanted the players of my game Undead Farmstead 2 to be able to dig soil anywhere so I've created the 17 missing tiles required to create a full grass/soil blob tileset. I agree trying to use Godot and its coming out janky. I thought it was the lack of experience but now I know I'm not alone. Please let me know if you end up selling the set you made I'd purchase in a heartbeat.
