well it certainly sounds like an interesting idea? especially if you were able to pull it off🧐 but I hope you do have plans in the event that you're not able to make it feel as good as this turn-based mechanic.

okay I have now played it for a bit and it is interesting.
first of all, it is a little bit of an improvement but also you know? a NERF to the game and increase difficulty having the wife now have her own meter where if you don't get to her in time? she will lose patience and you'll also lose the game.
but then at the same time there's a easier indication of when will the husband arrive thanks to the boot that appears when he's about to arrive and when he has left.
but now even more I feel like the checking thing is completely meaningless, why would I ever check? when will the husband arrive?? if I can just always clean until he arrives and then instantly go to the wife when he leaves and then prematurely go and clean.
so since you seem to be experimenting, my feedback is add some type of benefit to checking and if they already is? then increase it further.
