I'm not sure if a free game is a priority over the pre-order customers who have been waiting since October... In the end, it seems like they might not be able to keep their promise of a December release either. I'm a little tired.

i dont mind the wait. holidays are real buzy so I wouldnt be able to play anyway, plus the game gets to be more ready for release

Dude... this game has been in delay since october, and you still come here and say "I don't mind the wait" no wonder they keep on delaying it, if people like you give them basically the green light to

The reason im so patient is cause this dev seems to be ACTIVELY working on and adding stuff to it. its not like they have gone silent and offline. You can see the screenshots they share and it looks realy good. But I dont mean to start anything. You are valid to feel any way cause of the long delay

And I didn't say that they don't work on it, or stay silent. But if people normalize these behaviors, it just gives them more free room of delays, that's my fear. But, you right, lets not start something here. I vaild your opinion as well.

Thanks, Mars2121 (and Kurisuutofa) for the tough-love—those crack-of-the-whip reminders keep us honest and remind the team that people are waiting. And thank you, Grobgob, for the constant hype—it really lowers the pressure and fuels creativity. When stress spikes, it’s hard to make good art; your support helps us breathe and build.

We’re heads-down on Boys in the Dark: fixed cadence (Tue & Fri updates), UI/inventory stabilization first, then the public demo, then lock the RC and announce the exact date. Appreciate all of you—for both the push and the lift. 💙
