Glad it’s finally here! Lovely animations! (wow, you’ve animated a LOT of extra bits for the menus also)

Some feedback/notes:

-Possible bug: I think if you win and are on the token counting screen, pressing Skip before the screen completes causes the tokens not to be recorded for use in the Bonus. Or at least something caused my tokens to not count up.

-The rounds are best of three. If someone wins twice, what is the point of even having the third hand, when the winner is already decided?

-The “Hit” button has a cooldown before you can click it again. I suggest decreasing that delay. In general, this is a gameplay loop that some might want to play quickly.

-On that note, maybe it’s worth having a master speed setting that speeds up delays and animations, if the player wants to go faster?

-Is there any benefit to betting more than 1 token at a time? I have not seen it change how much the opponent bets, and so it seems like just an opportunity to lose tokens. Or is there a mechanic with that which will be added later?

-(and this is just an opinion) When the rival grows to max size, the camera zooms out during it. I feel this lessens the effect, since we reset the comparison of per prior size. Maybe let her grow so big she’s offscreen, THEN zoom out. Or maybe let her grow then just pan the camera up, like the player now has to crane their neck to look at her.

And a tip from an itch page owner: if you intend to sell the game at any point, I suggest you keep the demo/beta page for the game free, and make a separate page for the paid game. Itch still de-indexes mature games with payment options. But the free version / demo is still findable. So keep it as advertising, and have it point players to the paid page.

Also: you can host the Windows, Mac, and Linux versions all on one page. You can have multiple downloads available on the same page. I recommend doing that, so as people rate your game, it all collects in one page and bumps it up the ratings list. If you have all the versions separated, you’re separating your ratings. (though before you do, I wonder: what percentage of your downloads have been Windows vs Mac vs Linux, so far?)

Off to a great start! Bravo!

Thanks pal. Hope you are well. We are resting because this the Demo. But thanks to all your observations, we can have an idea about what to do in the next phase of the game.

Anytime.

Rest well! You’ve earned it.

Thank you for the detailed feedback! Will look into some of these and modify for the final release! :)
