Am vetting this game for a site and 'other generated games' here can be read as an admission this whole game is reliant on ai, based also on some of your text flagging as ai in detectors. The concern from me is ai is changing too fast so there is no precedent to moderate it with, It's painful and needs to be slowed down. i just want with you to say that this is whatam thinking. If you can document the source code I would be less concerned but if it's like these people with a 'casual game development' side hustle I have in mind to try and convince people to avoid it.
When I said "other generated games", I was referring to my game's cover art which is AI generated, not "an admission this whole game is reliant on ai". The game was built entirely in plain React and TypeScript without the use of any AI coding tools. I've been a web developer for over 15 years so I don't have to rely on AI tools to make it.
I made this game because I enjoy creating things that might make someone's day a little better. If some people don't like it or feel it's not for them, that's totally fine, nobody's forced to play it. I've been upfront by tagging it as AI-generated on itch, and I think that's enough transparency.
I'll be taking down this thread soon, not because I can't explain myself, but because it's starting to go in a direction that doesn't fit the positive reason I made the game in the first place.
