> Can i recommend you talk more about the original anime and the game idea? perhaps you might find here artist and programmers willing to help at least with the demo until you can start a kickstarter/crowfunding campaign and use then that money to hire artists.
Well, no:
1) I want to keep some details on the project secret so far. I do not want to accidentally do something that can be considered a confidentiality breach.
2) Nobody would read my long ass pitch deck and market research on the show which is everything you need to know about this project to take part in it. Even if someone does, they'd probably not calculate the risk/reward ratio correctly.
3) For people to work with you, they either have to share the same values or get paid. Paying people is more effective than finding your soulmates. I do not have spare money for this.
4) Even the demo won't attract anyone without marketing and distribution. To secure it, I need JP talent because it sells sooooo well. To secure JP talent, I need to pay to JP talent. I can't afford it.
So it all boils down to the fact I first need upfront cash that I personally can't afford. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I pretty much recognize the risks of AI use and that's why there should be no AI assets in the game that players will see. I think writing code is ok, with caution. I plan to outsource most work to more experienced devs after I develop the demo either way.
