Thanks for the feedback! ye the controls were tricky to be honest, yet myself find it simple enough to navigate but its expected! i wish i had more time to either flesh out a more linear path or well maybe some snapier feedback but i will do it on the next update! Interesting one! i will play it later to see how it feels! thanks!

By the way, consider the idea of a simple to even more involved level creator for your game.  You probably won't find many people making levels but having that as an option is a start -- I've implemented a couple 'level editors' and JSON file submissions in earlier jam submissions of mine.  Perhaps coding for the concept of a level editor might yield good results and the potential for great levels later.

it was a thought not gonna lie, yet for now with current control sceme it will need tough layering to allow movement of the character. ive done similar stuff on previous work related projects, but yeah for this maybe if down the line i allow customizable jump height and speeds per level as currently its tight already due to the tilemap but ye not a bad idea! thanks!

Here's one of my previous submissions with one version of level editing...(ascii text representation of a 2d level)

And here's another (even more difficult to consider level editing) that uses JSON pasted text... yikes.. 3d and a ton of JSON properties!
