i've moved away from more-ruthless jams myself while others seek more of a challenge in shorter, ranked jams (which i still sometimes participate in). in the end, i skim thru the queue of jams and see what fits the mood i'm in.

if you missed it on the 20sGJ server, i'm quietly announcing a Jam that begins this weekend and for ~2 months that you might be interested in. this is the 2nd OlyGames i'll have run where the first was meant to get my Jam fix in between 20 Second Game Jams :) it's Ranked and a bit "more" in the Rules requirements but meant to also include a casual aspect that 20sGJ delivers in spades.

with that, there are no restrictions on updating our 20s Game; please do, whenever you'd like.

you can filter Jams in the massive queue a little, too for example, i will usually Filter as In Progress or Starting this Month to help narrow down the options. filter again for Ranked such as this combination  and then look at duration, etc.

some, generally Ranked jams, lock the submissions during a voting period (i'll be doing this with OlyGames) but, otherwise, you are always able to keep a given submission as part of a jam unless it's manually removed by either a jam Host or yourself.

i hope this helps :)

ps, More Cows, please. i love the game!

This is awesome advice thank you! The OlyGames one looks really cool but I'll have to see about the timing since I am expecting a kid in a month hahahaha I will defs monitor for short jams that fit my mood
