WELCOME TO OLYGAMES 2026!

THEME:

• Be inspired by The Olympics and create a game that encourages friendly competition across 3 Challenging Mini-games.
  • The Mini-games don't need to be sports-related; they can be anything you might IMAGINE!

DURATION:

• The Jam is meant to loosely coincide with the 2026 Winter Games while you can begin working on your entry NOW, and Submit your Entries through the end of The Games, February 22nd, 2026.
• We can all Enjoy, offer Feedback, and Rate your creation during the Voting Period, Feb. 22nd through March 8th, 2026, with the Final Results posted soon after.
• If you've participated in OlyGames 2024, please enjoy the extended Jam Duration this time around!

RULES:

• A minimum of 3 distinctive Mini-games must be included.
• Your game must include a competitive High Score Leaderboard.
  • Global High Scores are strongly encouraged but Local tables are allowed.
• Teams are allowed; Submissions should be made by 1 Member of the team.
• Submissions must be Web Games created specifically for OlyGames 2026 and hosted on Itch.io.
  • Submissions will be locked during the Voting period.
  • Submissions must be Free to Play throughout the Voting period.
• No NSFW, Hateful nor Inappropriate content allowed.
  • Submissions to this Jam are to be shared and enjoyed by Everyone, so please Respect one another. 
  • Jam Hosts retain the right to remove any Submission/Participant they deem inappropriate for the Jam.
• You must have the right to include any Media which must be properly Credited where required.

• Ratings will be made by Entrants and Contributors using the following to compute Overall FUN: 
  • THEME; Does your game deliver the experience of the actual Olympic Games?
  • GAMEPLAY; Rules should be clear and Play intuitive so Competitors can dive right in!
  • CREATIVITY;  While the actual Games provide room for creativity themselves, you are encouraged to take Competitors to imaginary places to perform imaginary feats to the best of their abilities!
