The best art and especially animation I've seen so far this jam. Music was sophisticated too. Even the annoying typing beeps could be skipped with a button press.
Some of the riddles could have done with more playtesting:
and I don't get any feedback on if I made the right choice. The girl replied, "This dictionary has a strange ordering". Sarcasm doesn't really work in 1 bit jams, and the book doesn't look like a dictionary, I had guessed diary, furthermore, it definitely doesn't look like a dictionary with strange ordering.
It's almost as if the art was delivered and the poor devs had to come up with 25 riddles to use them. Some of the riddles were satisfying, some straightforward, but too many didn't make sense and the wrong answers never really felt wrong.
Are they drawing on the table and cat? Do they need to learn painting? Do they need paper? Are they writing in blood? I am clear the answer isn't paint here.
