Dead or Hiatus?

This looks like it had a steady stream of updates that suddenly stopped in 2023. Is the project dead, or on some kind of hiatus? Or is it just relatively feature-complete despite its version number?

It's got a ton of features, but still pretty alpha. Many of the settings do nothing ('match speed with preview' does nothing) , saving projects fail, so you can lose progress if you save in the wrong folder.

This'd be a killer app with more polish!

Had the same question. Looks like dev has been busy7 and not able to get to it lately.

Sorry once again for the lack of updates, life is still as chaotic as ever, (we even had to delay to Q2 the game project I’m working on) but despite all, development continues.

And that’s a sign of bad things, since his primary location to communicate should be HERE, on itch. Not in a Discord server, on a completely different platform.

Anyway, it’s bee 126 days since you checked that and there’s still been nothing.

EDIT (recent, but not recent enough)

It’s not dead, although I understand that thought. I’ve been working on Tinkerlands for almost two years now and It has consumed all my time, more than I anticipated. It was recently launched, and I thought my life would come back to something close to being normal, but the launch was an unexpected success and It’s now consuming even more of my time 😩 SpriteMancer’s update is not far from being complete (as discussed here: https://discord.com/channels/574945267434913801/574949397738160148/1339151199592517714) but It’s being super hard to find the time to work on it, hopefully I can manage to dedicate it a few days on my vacations
