First of all, the genre and the game you’re working on are genuinely creative and fill a real gap in the market, and you deserve credit for that. However, it needs to be said: my main issue isn’t the delays themselves, but the lack of proper communication.

You have repeatedly promised at least 72-hour progress updates, yet as far as I can tell, this has never actually happened. This ongoing pattern damages your credibility and gradually erodes the trust and respect of your fans and customers.

We’re also talking about a paid product, which makes it even more important to take your customers seriously and show them basic respect. I’m not asking for a refund—I’m willing to keep waiting patiently, and I still wish you success and good work, and I appreciate what you’re trying to achieve. That said, this level of disrespect needed to be called out.

Finally someone else, who calls this out, other than people still "acting" like it's not a big deal, and brush it off as a "delays happen" situation.

You’re right, Kurisuutofa—it is a big deal. Missed updates and shifting dates hurt trust, full stop. That’s on me.

Here’s what we’re doing so it’s not just words:

  • Fixed cadence: updates every Tue & Fri, 7:00 PM (GMT+7)—no more “vague 72 hours.”

  • No-silence rule: if we’re late, we’ll post a stub explaining why and when the full note lands.

  • Process guardrails: feature freeze, RC builds locked days early, and a small external smoke test before we announce the exact December day.

  • Make-good: preorder bonus character at launch; refunds honored if the window doesn’t work for you.

I’ve also just posted a new update with current status (inventory untangle, tougher zombie AI/attacks, and the free Christmas side project). Thanks for holding us to a higher bar—we’ll earn back the trust with consistent updates and the build you play. 💙

I completely agree with you because I was one of those who pre-ordered this game back in October and counted down the days until the developers announced its release, only to be disappointed every time. 😓

I’m really sorry, stupid coconut. You pre-ordered back in October and kept counting the days—we let you down, and that’s on me T.T sorry like Lancelot I just keep expanding the game T.T. I've posted a new update about the current state, thank you for sticking wif us <3

Thank you for the straight talk, Sib—that’s fair, and it’s on me. T.T

You’re right: I promised 72-hour progress updates and then failed to deliver them consistently. That gap hurts credibility, especially for a paid product. I’m sorry.

What I’ve done right now

  • I’ve just posted a new update covering where the build stands (UI/inventory, zombie AI/attack speed, and the free Christmas side project).

  • I’ve also added a short status block at the top so you can skim the essentials fast.

  • Today’s quick status (same as in the new update)
    • UI/Inventory: continuing icon sizing, slot checks, and item validation.

I appreciate you calling this out while still wishing us well. You’re absolutely right: communication is respect. I’ll earn that back with visible, on-schedule updates—starting now, Sib, sorry T.T. 💙
