Sure, I can’t see any reason why it would break the game if you want to do that! Some of the destination event tables already say to roll twice, as they take place in the larger hubs on each planet. It was just a design decision to keep your game moving but whatever you prefer should work - you’ll just need to move on in order to trigger leads and targets eventually.

Sounds great.  I am trying to resolve the thematic disconnect of moving aimlessly/randomly around between destinations.  It's as if my character has a bad case of Attention Deficit Disorder.  But, I love the game.  Just faced my first lead.  He was a fellow Nomad who was hired by the Old Republic to protect my current target.  I served with him in the Old Republic's Navy before he committed a heinous crime and blamed it on me resulting in me being court martialed, imprisoned, and exiled by my home village.  Reluctantly, to gain favor, I let him live after I fantasized about exacting my revenge definitively.

Nice, glad you’re enjoying it! I like to think of each event as a small highlight/scene as part of your wider search for the target. Kinda like how a TV show is usually set around a few sets/locations and doesn’t show the characters actually travelling between them, but picks out the most dramatic moments. You can imagine the locals saying to each other that there’s a Nomad sniffing around looking for someone 😄

That's a good way to frame the story snippets.
