Game jams are all about the hobby of making games. It's all just for fun, though, so there's no point in hiring people.
Reddit, google, a few actual people as well, though these were voice acting communities and not jamming communities, so thank you for letting me know. I'll be removing/adjusting posts and making note of everything should there be any other misinformed folk I run into, thank you everyone for the info!
