Neat! Is it really a multiplayer game too? Made it to a score of 66 (plus two ships, dunno how much they gave) before I was ganked from both directions at the same time.
The AI isn't too smart can can be easily either pretty much zero distance and quite safely try to lob upwards as your own shots can't hurt yourself. Or you can also quite easily just out range them as they don't seem to properly be shooting the max distance. They only laded their shots nearby if the waves were really not in your favour.
First huge chunk of the game (after the first few ships) nothing was spawning for me. I reached the edge of the world and then decided to go the other way. Then the opponents started appearing in quite a reasonable pace but they didn't really pose any real threat before they started appearing from both directions.
The repair mechanic seemed a bit pointless. I don't think there was any other use for the supplies so it might as well have been fully automatic. I don't see much point in requiring the player to keep mashing the repair button constantly. To make it better and more interesting, repair could be a lot quicker and maybe immobilize and stop you from shooting so it would need to be a bit more strategic.
The waves looked great and the ships were nice too. The audio side was a bit barren and repetitive. So many actions were completely void of sound making it feel more awkwardly unimmersive. And of course music would have helped too.
Anyways, good job! 👍
