I have one problem: the game seems to reward inefficient complexity and sophistication. I think I get a higher score when I purposefully cram in more elements, which is not as challenging as it is creative and a bit uncomfortable, because I don’t get to move things around and experiment after I place them. The game is extremely creative, which suits the theme, and the dice suit the limitation. I simply feel that having a million elements is cool and all, but it isn’t a goal that resonates with me if there are no constraints and I can’t tinker with the elements as much as I want without resetting each time. So, to me, this is a beautiful game with good ideas that frustrates me because I want to mess around with different configurations without having to restart again and again if I mis-click or make a bad decision.
The direction is really good.
