Nice use of aesthetics to carry the theme. I don't think I know enough about vaporwave to see how it connects to the gameplay, but I got the sense there was a bit more to the game than I picked up on.

Vaporwave is the inspiration for the art stye, music, and some of the story elements, but it's not something I leaned on too much for the gameplay. There are some mini-games, like the arcade and the optional boss battle, which have some of those elements though.
