Thanks for playing my game! Great to see you liked the use of aesthetics. 

Vaporwave is the inspiration for the art stye, music, and some of the story elements, but it's not something I leaned on too much for the gameplay. There are some mini-games, like the arcade and the optional boss battle, which have some of those elements though.

Thanks for playing and reviewing my game! Nice to hear you're a vaporwave fan like me and had fun playing it. You're right I made the button mashing part a little bit too difficult for a jam game. It means a lot that you enjoyed the soundtrack/audio design; especially coming from someone as experienced as you.
