I'd really like to see push, pull, pickup, and carry animations for the player and maybe a generic interact animation for toggling switches/pushing buttons/etc.

Oh, and breakable pots and boxes as well :)

That's some good ideas ! I will definitely do more player animations. For the breakable pots  and boxes I hide behind the fact that there is a breaking particle that you can use for anything you break 😂, but I will do real breaking animations at some point (I'm going to refine the objects once I have the jungle biome and NPC's pack finished, even spike animations etc...). For now you can put some placeholders on all the player animations you asked for :)

One other thing I forgot to ask for, lol, was doorways to the east and west.  Right now I think there's just the one for north/south(unless I somehow missed it).

Yep, I only did the gate viewed from face for reading purposes, as the perspective is not the same as the old Zelda's for example (take Minish Cap, the dungeons perspective has a vanishing point toward the middle, so you can easily see the side gates). With a true top-down perspective it is harder to show if the gate is opened or not. However I'll take a look into that and see how I can make it readable cause I agree this is missing :)
