Awesome, so after a few runs you kick me out to the main menu and delete my save. It's definitely a choice to bring your demo to a screeching and unsatisfying halt instead of letting players upgrade and improve to their heart's content.
The demo now has a more natural and satisfying "ending" and I've also added an option to continue playing!
