I like the concept! I feel like some sound effects or visual effects when destroying or getting hit by an asteroid and when collecting the animals would help a ton! Some sort of tutorial or showing the controls at the beginning would also be a good idea I think. Overall very solid visuals!

It was kinda weird that I got damaged sometimes even if I destroyed the asteroids, also sometimes the animals disappeared when I shot them.  An online scoreboard would make this game 100 times better. Overall nice entry, I didn't really feel it connected to the jam theme.

It is definitely simple but I think the movement has been implemented nicely so it feels easy to dodge things and catch animals.

Not much else to say about it. It works!

Cool little game! I wish the movement was perhaps a little snappier, although maybe that's the point to make it difficult. Not totally sure how this related to waves, but good job!

It is a kind game for children.

I also didn't find any connection between the game and jam theme.
It would have been better if the animals and asteroids came in waves. So, there is some rest time between waves.

Thanks for sharing your work! It was pretty satisfying to save the animals, and an interesting cross-over theme between space and animal rescue. However, I didn't find the connection the jam theme.
