Awesome horror game. The creature design and audio are great as well as the concept of being chased on a submarine. The level design is good, with all the different locations, but always leaves room to escape, at first I thought the corridors were too narrow but in retrospect it adds to the claustrophobic feeling. The tasks that keep the player busy are cool, including the collision alarm going off adding tension. I also liked the leaks that appear.
The noise mechanic is cool, although I feel the creature always was homing in on me even when I was quiet.
One important thing to add: the interact with computer task needs a distance like the other tasks. The first time I played it I got stuck on this. What I think happened is I was focused so much on the environment that I didn't see the objective text - I just started walking around and left the start room. That must have automatically completed the WASD task and the walk up to desk task without me knowing. Eventually I noticed the interact with computer task text, I start searching round for a computer, I didn't think of going back into the start room. I thought the computer must be one of the 3 computers in the reactor screenshot room and couldn't understand why pressing E on them didn't work. Figured it out in the end, but thought you'd want this play test feedback.
