5 time IDOTY award winner, lets goooo 😤😤 Such a fun game with a super chill vibe, excellent job team!! I really enjoyed vibing out and decorating for each customer. The different requirements kept things interesting and the timer was a good design choice, keeping me on my toes. Having upgrades in between customers was another cool decision that I wouldn't expect to see in this sort of game and I dig it.  A free play mode with no timer or budget would be a fun addition too.

The variety of furniture is awesome and I enjoyed unlocking new things as I progressed in my career (shout out disco lighting). I do wish I could have stacked items on top of each other (e.g. putting a cactus on top of a wardrobe or a table on top of a rug), and I would definitely recommend adding that if you continue working on the game. 8 directional furniture rotation (instead of 4) was a really neat touch and I appreciated being able to play the whole game with only the mouse, controls felt smooth and intuitive.  Also, not a huge deal but the UI felt a little off with the vibe of the rest of the game. The voice acting is a great detail and adds a lot of personality, but I wish the mixing was a little different as its hard to hear over the music. Maybe fading out the music when the voice line comes in and then fading the music back in after could work.

Overall, I very much enjoyed my playthrough and this is easily one of my favorite games I've played in the jam. You all did an awesome job and nailed the chill/cozy vibes, keep up the great work!!

Thank you so much for playing and the detailed review, really appreciate it! Great suggestions as well! stacking furniture on top of each other is a nice idea (maybe only specific things allowed)! I was planning on putting 2 modes - a chillax mode and timed mode, so thats definitely on the cards in future if i work on this! Thanks for the feedback on the UI and volume levels. will definitely try to improve it :)
