I found your game to be an enjoyably chill experience with some really adorable sprite work, nice entry ChessProKing! The artstyle is super charming and all the little decorations and small touches - snow particles falling outside the window, oscillating transparency of the ghost sprites, slight glow of the flashlight and lamp, etc - add a lot to the overall ambiance. I wish the flashlight and lamp glowed even more to create a nice contrast with the dark room.
The gameplay loop is simple and solid, having to refill energy helps prevent the player from just camping out by the cookies, good design choice. I found the player controller to be a bit too slow and floaty, making it difficult to re-fuel and get back to defending your cookies in time. It's basically impossible to know how much time you have to rest at the water cooler and the slower movement makes it a guessing game of when to return and feels somewhat unfair. I think some arrow indicator things pointing to ghost spawns outside of the camera's view would help a lot with this. There was one small collision bug when moving right towards the water cooler and the player would get stuck on an invisible object and have to jump over it (the bug did not occur when walking left away from the water), but I didn't mark you down for that.
The start screen is lovely and the animated buttons are a great touch of juice. I loved your artwork. Each character is charming and fits well with all the other props to make a cohesive and believable world. Cool game and I enjoyed my time with it, great job! Keep up the good work!!
