Apologies for this not being a very original comment - but WOW. I was absolutely enraptured by your writing.
Your characterization is so on point, yet distinguishably unique. It felt like I had merely slipped into Sherlock's skin in a universe parallel to the original. The story is wholly unique, but nothing feels out of place. And your writing is a joy to read.
I'm extremely picky about IF games. And honestly, fiction in general. To be honest, I wasn't sure if I would like this when I saw it was written in first/second person. I was wrong. I adore it. I immediately had to follow all the links, desperate to learn more. I could not put it down. I had to sacrifice some sleep and show up to work extra bleary because I was hooked, addicted. It's been on my mind all day in a way that very few stories are these days.
Don't even get me started on the way Holmes's vice is kept constantly in the background. For me and my choice (inaction), and as someone with chronic depression (medicated, yet, but unfortunately never far off) it felt so real and close to my experiences that I was honestly startled. I've never felt so immersed in a story.
Which is a lot of words to say: thank you! You've done an amazing job and I am very much looking forward to the next part!
