Hey! Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback — I’m really glad you enjoyed it. My goal was to create something profound (as the name “Vathys” suggests, which literally means “deep/abyssal”), but still full of life. Simple, yet powerful — that’s what I was aiming for.
And to answer your question, I based it entirely on what I felt when I looked at the Great Comet painting.

I certainly think you accomplished the alive with depth feeling! And that makes sense to me - I had assumed this because it sounds more terrestrial than what I would expect for the other two images.
