Fair enough, just keep in mind that it's YOUR specific subset of the community that finds that term offensive, and others have different opinions, the majority like you said, but I love the game and the vibes its going for, just don't want it to devolve into a "I'm banning anyone who uses this term even if it's not referring to IRL people because I don't like it!" because I really appreciate how you and other moderators care about the project.

Edit: Ok wow, take it all you hate the cool and lovely trans and nonbinary people, who I've seen HUNDREDS of, identify with those terms too, by extentsion? Got you. Maybe intention and respect is the real issue, folks, as words can have MANY different meanings to MANY different people.

I'm gonna repost this as a reply to you, because I know why those terms are used by trans people, and am trans myself.

Or, we could think of it like this: What is trans porn typically labelled like BY cis people?  Those offensive terms listed.  So, why would trans women post under those terms online?  Simple: Because that's what people are looking for.  That's HOW people are looking for it.  So, you label it in a way that gets the most clicks, even if it's directly offensive to you as a creator.  Making it a sadly, self-perpetuating cycle.

This isn't just like, theorizing, by the way, I know trans women who work in porn who have directly stated that the reason they 'identify' using those offensive terms is because it's what's expected of them.  Dozens of them.  I've never seen one that's like, 'yeah, I'm fine with it and it doesn't feel bad' it's always, 'it feels bad, but I need the views'.

As for 'trans women using femboy', that could easily be some form of non-binary, but that term isn't inherently offensive like 'shemale' is.  That one is JUST offensive.

Than, with all due respect, if they find it dehumanizing they need to stop using it all together if your theory has any weight to it, because to me. if you find a term offensive but just use it for clicks, you're perpetuating the 'problem.' And again, important to remember, that's YOUR experience, I've known dozens of transwomen, recently too, that have no qualms about the usage of shemale or futa.

All that being said, as a transgirl myself, my default is transwoman, and as a trans persons myself, I appreciate your perspective, even if I don't wholly agree with it.
