Vlamtellus: I am really intrigued by the crunchy beat combined with the space-adventure choral component. It sets a really unique tone for the game as the title track. It seems to evoke a sense of the main character experiencing some sort of dissociative euphoria while they are surrounded by complete destructive chaos.

Atreus Nyx Malik: Your description continues to outline the feeling of complete chaos. The somber piano focal point in this track is an interesting choice that highlights that while the chaos is occurring, there is primarily a feeling of sadness - very nicely describing the seen of the crying child like you describe. I like the effects you use to sonically describe the insect creatures.

Behold, It is He: I find the static and ambient sounds to be quite interesting in this track and the previous one. In the previous track it seemed to represent that the scene was more of a memory. In this one, it seems to clash with the softness of the piano and violin. Your description shows the king as a kind and gentle person, but the ambience makes me wonder if that is actually true. I have a feeling of tension throughout this piece that makes me consistently question the veracity of what the main character is observing mainly. Or maybe I’m thinking too hard about it and it is more meant to represent the whirs and hums of the destructed world outside - if this is the case, then I wonder if maybe pushing these sounds to the sides or back of the mix would help allow the main ideas shine through a little more clearly.

Behold, It is You: I appreciated being able to have a little more focus on the focal instruments in this track. I think that the distorted pads under this track maybe were less necessary if this is representing a more victory-oriented conclusion. I like the overall resolved feel of this track and I think it speaks volumes for your musical story-telling capabilities.

Overall: You found a really unique sound for this OST and were able to convey varying emotions while keeping a very consistent sound throughout. This was a fun listen and I would love to hear the two combat tracks as I think they would really help round this out to feel like a complete OST. Good work on this and thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much! Yes, I think I might come back to this track at some point and finish the full OST for sure! since I enjoyed making this one so much :)

I did get some feedback about how the king's theme sounded ominous before, but I was unsure how to fix that. The king is gentle and kind, but my goal was to make him seem a little imposing - he is a king after all, although I get now why it just didn't seem right.

The distorted pads definitely aren't quite victorious -- but that one is intended for sure, it's a more bitter-sweet victory, rather than an all-out win.

Really appreciate all the feedback from you! Thank you so much for listening. I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D
