Are there any other methods to acquire carbon? Trees and grass are limited, so my reducing agent is similarly limited.
Charcoal or coal into carbon somehow?
I have tons of CO2 and CO, but no way to recover the carbon to make it useful.
we’re going to have seeds for plantable trees soon when we do the crops update soon
I may add some additional ways to get Carbon though
I just added something in the most recent build (27b) so Blender pixels can now turn Charcoal into Carbon :)
i'm working a Bosch Reaction; FE + CO2 + H2 @ 500+c creates (slowly) carbon items.
FE is the catalyst, CO + H2 React to form C + O2. By product might be a bit of steel, seems to work alright!
I’m not sure if it’s in the game yet, but I’ll definitely add it - I just added ability to support catalysts in the reaction data yesterday so I need to add a bunch of catalyzed reactions soon :)
Yeah that's cool! I just added iron in the mix in my custom reactions and it seems to work? Also joined discord :)
