You're clearly pretty familiar with Arcweave, or at least with interactive fiction. You've integrated those mechanics well when exploring the house in particular. It definitely felt like a typical interactive story. The writing shows loads of promise, I think. Your MC felt like a person I might know in real life, with some nice observations/mannerisms. Nice one :) One of the better submissions I've read so far.
