You have really good art. It's a pity that the player probably won't see the final art with a good ending.

The controls are a bit unintuitive, so maybe if the jump was on <space>, it would improve the user experience a bit.

Yes, the game is quite difficult, I was only able to collect 4-5 leaves before falling. I'm also a little confused by the fact that the player probably needs to hit a small fox sprite accurately before getting a good ending, but maybe I'm wrong.

I had to use "cheats" to see the art for a good ending.

Ooh thank you! Yeah, had such a short time that I really couldn’t make much content. Planned one more ending for picking up like 50% of the leaves but had to scrap it for this release at least.

Wanted a bit of a challenge to make it feel like a game, the first couple of leaf formations were so easy it felt kinda dull or was over too fast, needs some tweaking to hit the sweet spot.

Yeah space is more intuitive, I’ll bind that too when I update. Was planning a more traditional platformer game first and repurposed the controls, albeit a bit weirdly.

Hehe after 80 leaves your hitbox wont be that tiny anymore, and the last highest leaf is positioned right obove the fox, so you just drop on him. Though I guess there is a chanse the hitbox could hit the ground first, but didn’t have a problem hitting the fox. But yeah it’s a bit wonky mechanic, and might cause some cofusion/frustration, but don’t really know how else the tanuki would hit the fox, maybe the fox could be on top of the tree. But this way I show the fox from the start, and you get the first ending by just running to him, so I kinda stand by the mechanic.

I’m intrigued by these “cheats”, don’t remember putting any in ahah. But glad you liked the art! Thanks for checking it out!
