I’ve never done any kind of game jam before but I love the concept for this one and I’m really excited for it!
I think I’m going to do a one page advert for a fake bug collecting game, my working name is nighttime bug collector 2001 or something along those lines. The concept is that the game came with two accessories, kind of like Wii accessories that would be a flashlight and a net, and the main gameplay was pointing the flashlight at the screen and using the net when you spotted a bug. I want there to be a light horror element teased in the advert but not fully shown or explained, like a tagline like “make sure bugs are the only thing you catch” or something like that.
Hoping I can get it done on time!
