Hi PondGames! I just played the Pipsqueak! Demo, and it's got STRONG potential to be an underrated metroidvania, with the breathtaking pixel art blowing me away and the animations as well (Especially the waterfall animations), and I also saw your game RITE, and honestly, I kind of want to get that game, when it's on sale, of course. The level design and map layout is REALLY well thought out, and the combat and atmosphere really works with this game. However, I didn't really like the control layout. I find it difficult for me to use the WASD keys only, Space to Jump, J to attack, and Shift to roll. Some people wouldn't have a problem with this control layout, but I really wish you would add a controls configuration option available in the future. Nonetheless, BRILLIANTLY well-crafted metroidvania, and I can't wait to see how it turns out in the future!!!
