Majority of players prefer the new direction which I see in sales - my top performers on Steam utilize AI tech.

My games were never popular, so if this change helps me pay the bills and allows me to make better games, I don't see why not use it.

To be honest, drawing became frustrating. It wasn't getting any better and no matter how I tried, none of my projects achieved what current ones do. For me, it's obvious.

this is really sad and I hope you find yourself in a better position in life so you're not giving your passion over to this machine nonsense. I'm sure you're seeing a short term sales boost, but I don't see it lasting as people grow ever-more pissed at the technology and its ruinous impact on literally everything.

Don't worry about the A.I. thing. There is currently a moral panic going on with A.I. like video games, drugs and other stuff before it. It's mainly too many sci-fi movies to blame, making people think A.I. is sentient. There is nothing actually wrong with it and most of the negative claims people bring up about it are provably false. A.I. is already used industry wide, even by top tier artists, and this panic will die down in a few years so don't let the pearl clutchers stop you from using A.I. to make your art. Everyone else is already using it.

thoough for the most part ai bros are just sloppist, you are fine to use it to extents and its clear you had a burnout with your own art, just sad you have burnt out, your art is really good and i'll miss your cutesy style, just draw whenever you feel like it, experiment time to time see what works for u, some folks i know were ai bros but they are the inverse of you, ai to drawing yet at the end of the day you and them have one thing in common, you use ai as a tool as intended and its fine to use tools but folks just go lunging throats over stuff, overall you are still the same artist who brought us many interesting lewd game novels and thats what matters here, the sloppist and unhinged purist can mald for all i care, in the end, they ain't you, you are you and you have needs clear, eventually at some point you would go back to art when you feel like it and i respect your transparency and voicing your needs rather than let whiny people online get the jump on u.
