Dude don't get discouraged your art was getting so good! Maid's Duty was super polished.

Besides the moral conversation on AI the thing with it is that all the generative ai seems to look the same. If you could somehow stylize it's output that would go a long way. Even just a little bit. 'My Fluffy Neighbour' does a pretty good job of having it's AI look a little more distinct. I think people see this same style that EVERYONE else is outputting and associate that as slop because it's indistinguishable at a glance from the actual slop.

Maid's Duty was made with AI assistance, I guess doing the extra step with animations kinda hides it. With this project, I was just exhausted to do that. Instead I focused on story and gameplay. No animations allowed to add more content too.

I tried that and it has an interesting system with the animations. Would love to see something similar down the line. Though I strongly disliked it being Pony X Pony. I think it's the only non-HMOFA game you've made too.

It was a workflow test. I used animations in several games on Steam, but it doesn't seem like it's a sales driver and requires too much work.
