The PC versions of Captain Barrel and Cyborg Force offer additional options, including: video mode selection (screen format, scan lines, etc.), Xinput support, button reconfiguration + all general options, including difficulty level selection.
Finally, 44 kHz stereo audio output, high scores, and settings are saved.
