Idea is simple, but the game is addicting and fun! I'm not sure about oneshotting player, but that's okay. Adding leaderboard was a great idea, it motivated me to play more.

So, after your thorough feedback yesterday for our game, I figured the least I could do is beat your high score. And after 15 minutes or so, I've finally been able to do so ! Just by one point though, I managed to get 69 :D
I think the game is pretty fun. It gets you to the action fast, you can do one run after another, it's pretty addicting. Here are my two cents:

Are you trying to get me to grind the game again?? 69 is a crazy score, I really appreciate you playing it that much!! And yes, you are right, the boxes should either just appear by themselves, or at least be clearly flown by the yokai. And yes, the too close to the edge is definitely sucky. Fun fact: for some reason they don’t spawn on the left side. Thank you again for playing!

Nice game, ended up with a score of 62.
I thing the controls of the character are a little to fast, especially for such a big character and small ennemies.

Really love the CRT filter, and always welcome a bullet hell! Adding in a life bar would make the game feel less difficult I think, and encourage longer play.
Thank you for playing! Yes, I agree, e.g. a health bar that decreases while you are in contact with a yokai would be good or combining health with the score somehow. Right now it’s definitely too hard and insta-dying is frustrating!

This was absolutely brutal. I still played it for about 20 minutes though. Managed a 35. Love the CRT filter, art and sound both top notch. Great jam entry!
