Still don't know how people manage to make 3d game of this scale in gdevelop, never-ending for a game jam.

This is a amazing game, good luck with the jam

hi can some one rate my game! please

Literally only complaint i have is the jump mechanic feeling a bit wonky :o like it feels more like gently gliding than jumping and its especially present in the first "parkour" level.

But other than that its an awesome game! Cool story and even better art :D love the atmosphere u managed to achieve ^^

also very smart including the floating eyeballs in the finale as I did end up just flying around with the gun jump hahaha

Thank you :D I appreciate you for playing and leaving such a nice review. I definitely should've tweaked the gun jump mechanic and made it feel a bit more "weighted", would've made the movement even smoother I feel.

Thanks again for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed!

Very well made game..and I hope you can do the same to my game call ice tower by play and rank on it too.. I really appreciate it if you did :)

The idea is good i didn't even mind the platform tutorial but at times enemies deal way too much damage and there is only so much you can do. Otherwise fantastic entry.

Really love the gun jump design here! So mind blowing. The atmosphere is nice, too. Pretty eerie.

Amazing game! My only problem is with the sound. If you added more it would have been perfect. Never the less I hope to see more updates for this.

It's a great game, I love the designs you made and the jumping mechanic with the weapon is very creative. The fights themselves are also frantic.

This game was pretty fun and the first person view was solid. The sounds could be a little better. But well made solid adventure. Please play mine and rate if you don't mind, thanks.

This is game might be one of the best games out there! Its really fun and exciting! you can use the shotgun to propel yourself up which is always a fun mechanic in a game I would be flying everywhere at the last part of the game just to avoid enemies HAHAHAH. The quality of the game is at its best, the sound effects, the music, the tentacles, the water, everything is just very cool! Congratulations man you might just win this game jam!

This game is very fun to play, a little on the easy side but still very fun. The low-poly visuals are well done (although slightly cliche) and the audio is nice too. Great Job!

Firstly, the game is actually fun, with low-poly visuals and PS1-style jagged edges, but the game's flaws are the bugs and the difficulty. The game has a mechanic where you shoot downwards and propel yourself forward, but the problem is that you can do this infinitely and just fly through the levels, and the enemies often get stuck in the scenery. The final boss is also ridiculously easy, and finally, you just end up spamming shots at the enemies since the reload time is ridiculously short.
Developer

Hey there! I appreciate your comment and am glad you enjoyed the visuals. I would also like to tell you that the gun-jump mechanic as well as the short reload are not bugs whatsoever, they were design decisions to make the game as fun as possible. I've had some people say that the game is punishingly hard, and others say it's too easy, all depends on how people play and how skilled they are at these types of games. The difficulty being a key flaw is true in some cases but it's also a flaw the game will always have, make it easier and it's boring some, make it harder and its impossible for others. The enemies getting stuck on levels also isn't really a "bug" in the classic sense, it has to do with the fact I had to manually place all the levels colliders both for the player and for the enemies pathfinding, due to the short time window I had to simplify a lot of the levels geometry when placing these invisible colliders which sometimes leads to enemies bumping into walls that are invisible to the player. I wish I had the time to take better care of the pathfinding colliders, but other things were more important at the time.

Overall, I just want to provide some reasoning/sense to why the game behaves in these ways in this response, and I hope I did that! I'm glad you enjoyed the game and had fun with it, and I appreciate the in-depth review and response! Comments like yours will certainly help me improve my future projects.

I didn't get very far because of the rocky section where I died hundreds of times, but the graphics are great, I'll have another opportunity to play again.
