Austerity The Video Game.

Banger.

The aestetic is very much a vibe and I appricieate the storytelling even though it is quite the tropey kinda thing.

Platform is satisfying and the ambient sounds and such really added to the atmosphere. The audio mix can be a tad off at times but that's SUCH a nit pick.

Dunno if this is the right behaviour but the hand obstacle activates when jumping into below. Also could use some kinda windup animation or sound. Felt myself struggling a bit for the timing but could just be a skill issue. Sounds for the crumbling platforms could be nice too, not just for gameplay reasons but also immersion.

Vomitting skeleton was peak! Very much loved that scene though it did get a tad bit on the nose. I felt just the vommiting and a single line like "still the same" could've done it.

Thank you for playing and dropping your thoughts. We leaned into a bleak atmosphere on purpose with this one, pulling from real experiences, so I’m glad it landed :)
