It's really too bad you can't move backwards like the original Asteroids. Cool extension of the original game!
i struggled with the controls a bit and found it pretty hard to navigate, but overall it was pretty fun. the music was very wistful and added a lot to the vibe of being all alone in space with nothing but a bunch of asteroids
I love the original asteroids and this is such a great evolution of that game. This feels so polished and satisfying to play like the original it feels like an official sequel. Great job!

The gameplay is simple, but it works. Personally, the controls were a bit too floaty for me, but then again the game is in space. And the music is perfect btw!
The core gameplay here is solid, but what really sold me on the experience was the music! It's simple, but it does wonders for the forlorn atmosphere of an outer-space apocalypse. Did you compose it yourself?
