i'm really sad about Callahan, Winnie and Lucky. Sure it's in Duke's nature as a gorta to eat their suffering but like, he manipulated them, made himself seem like a stand up guy all the while he's secretly been making them do humiliating, disgusting acts. Glad he's dead.
Poor Bella, i want the best for her. i hope she gets clean, i hope she recovers.
And then there's Flee, who fully intended to just not come back or contact Mc ever again, but he did, only because the community that took him in was in trouble, he did that for them. They took care of him, and he only wanted to help them. -clutches chest-It's interesting, because before being planebound, Flea led a very spoiled life so we hear, and getting stuck on earth had been very hard on him, but there's still experiences he's never had, perspectives that he's never really digested before. and somehow he comes out of it with so much empathy. He's rather soft hearted for a demon.
Again with the lines Flea won't cross, despite the detriment to his own well being. He's been weak, he's been starved for a month but he clearly cares about Mc a lot. When they got dosed with Flea's blood, the solution was right there, but he didn't take it.
we've got him back, but it feels like the distance between Mc and Flea has only widened. physical distance shortened, emotional distance? a gulf. Flea has gotten dealt a big emotional blow and not that long after he'd been officially banished too. I don't mind having him around again but i feel like he shouldn't cut contact with the homeless community he'd been sheltering with. He needs more people than just Mc (who other than Flea, only has Ted but whatever)
Also honestly, i was kinda disappointed we weren't dealing with a freaky cult lol.it would've been an interesting twist but alas
