I'm quite surprised Flea came back right away. I thought J was going to play a much bigger role than he was (he still might!) but we've gotten our partner in crime back. He's a strange one. So far, his demeanor had been pretty irreverent and easy going, but it must've really bothered him what he said to Mc, that it brought him back. That's a new side to him we've not seen before, the sympathy, the empathy.
Ilyana was sure a piece of work. I got so mad at being kicked in the face LOL. And I couldn't do a thing about it. So far, there hasn't really been much of a chance for Mc and Flea to really get to know each other (or rather my MC wasn't willing to confide in Flea about her dead family for example) or to work together, really, but this situation forced Mc to put a lot of faith and trust in Flea, putting themselves in his hands while navigating the club, requiring them to work together.
Actually, it was Flea saying there were a lot of moments where it felt like Mc wasn't looking out for him that I realized that he was relying on them too, because this entire plan hinged on Mc playing into the act that they were performing. /I/ was playing it like 'well,i have to play along because i'm a professional and i'm not gonna jeopardize the job", and i hadn't really thought until that moment that Flea had placed his wellbeing in Mc's hands as well. There's been a shift in their relationship now, they bled for each other, tended to each other's needs.
There's a lot that Mc is not aware of, regarding demons, and from the pieces of info revealed to us, it seems like the demons that are stuck on the human world have to play it very carefully, stick to the rules to remain, otherwise there's big consequences to be had. Flea made it seem like it was rare for demons to kill humans, or do anything that would draw attention. Ilyana had abandoned that caution but Flea very much keeps those guidelines in the back of his head. Even though he's livng it rough, he still wouldn't dare cross those lines the way she did. (So the mystery of Mc's family's deaths persist. What caused that kind of incident to occur?)
Ngl. it was /really/ funny catching him jerking off miserably. Fascinated at the fact that masturbation, to demons is considered auto-cannibalism. It makes sense! Sexual energy is food, it's just a meal to them, so they don't need to do it. Does it just not feel good then? It clearly requires another individual, a human to work.

Furthermore, I can't believe Flea was just rawdogging human society without the internet at his disposal. No human food to snack on like junk food, no electronics to mess around on for a couple minutes? Is this all he's been doing the past decade? Horrors.
Now i played a very in platonic with Ted MC, and im delighted that he's become aware of Flea's existence at the most inopportune time but thinking of an Mc who is secretly in love with Ted, having him witness the kiss between Flea and Mc is giving me a chuckle.
