Thank you for the feedback. I am really glad you enjoyed it. Did you notice that when the shield is activated, more enemies appear around the statue? You have to kill'em all to remove the shield. :)
ya, I noticed groups spawning when I started drilling. Must've probably left a bee or so alive and that's why the shield stayed up. He was chasing me the entire map, so may have missed an enemy at the other side. thanks lol
Thanks again! if I had more time I would make some kind of closed environment for the boss fight, but ah time is always against us. Will think of something for future update after the game jam. Again, thanks for playing!
