I really liked the pixel art style for this - the design of the characters and creatures was something that stood out for me! The gameplay was simple enough to understand so I could jump right into the action. A particular kudos I must give is when certain sound effects (like something being pushed) are used as audio cues for where a creature might be, that was fantastic. It made me go - what's that sound?  It really lent to that horror story vibe. I think the sound effects and music with the heartbeat and clock ticking helped to build the tension too.

But I do wish the action ramped up a little bit faster though or perhaps the map was too big for me to explore, so I didn't actually feel scared.. Maybe by darkening the surrounding background and only letting the player really rely on the lamp would make the game even more scary. But of course, you only had so little time to work on this - so for only spending 28 hours on this, It's a good game!

Thanks for taking the time to write this detailed feedback and for your kind words!

Yeah, I should have given the level layout design more time , it naded much more work

I'm glad you liked it!!
