I like that new equipment unlocks combat abilities, it feels satisfying.
Would be good to have any sort of feedback on "Save adventure", I thought it was broken until I actually exited and loaded. Could just be a sound or "Adventure Saved!" pop up.
Got confused about how to equip the training staff as I misunderstood the equipment tab button (the sword in circle that lets you look at your equipment) to be an actual slot, and kept trying to drag the staff there. You could have feedback there that greys out/blocks off all invalid slots when an item is selected so the correct slot is easy to notice, for clarity.
