Keep in mind Vinny might stream your game so animated static effects will fuck over the bit rate of the stream so they should be an optional setting or non animated.  Use of them sparingly would probably also be fine just dont use them if you want people actually see whats going  in your games scene.

actually use ALL the bitrate-destroying effects and turn the stream visuals to SLUDGE please it would be funny :)

lmao literally the only thing I've programmed so far is a high-fidelity static effect and a TV. I'm so mad right now.

i say maximize the static, embrace the bitrate crust. in fact here's a creative way to look at it: since you know there will be crust no matter what, try to find a way to turn it into a visual signature, an interesting texture
