It takes awhile to get to the actual game. I start off just walking around the base until I find the computer. Then I check in at the computer and figure out what to do. But more importantly it takes awhile to figure why I'm supposed to be doing anything. Without reading the gamejam description and knowing an uninvited guest would show up at the ice station (The Thing 1982) I'd have no idea why I'm playing the game. After checking everyone's status at the beginning and reporting it, my immediate next thought was, "what do I do now?"

The UI and controls and general engine stuff are good though, my criticism is just how long it takes to get to the real gameplay. The game world was logical to navigate, and the color of the main character being different worked well to make them stand out.

Yes, you pointed out something about the game having a slow start that I need to change. There was suppose to be a few more markers of what the player is suppose to do, and also a few smaller mini games so that when the game really gets off ground, you'd know what to do - but I ran out of time to fully test and implement those features.  The Thing was definitely an inspiration for this! Thank you for checking out my game
