the only times I’ve seen issues like this, and seen them resolved, have been fixed by re-downloading the game (corrupted file, presumably) and/or restarting their computer.

I already did it, now this comes up.

seem to be having the same/similar problem as rumpelstinky. Game opens,  I click start game, loading bar reaches 100% then game freezes then closes. pls help/fix.
